Last Sunday of 2014...GoodBye 2014 and Hellooooo 2015.

Good Day my Zenful readers. And a happy Sunday or Monday morning, depending on your time zone. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. That's what it is all about. My and my kids Christmas was a pleasant one. Since they are older they woke up later than usual, despite the excitement for their presents under the tree. I wanted to share a picture of the dream catchers that I am so proud of. The kids loved it just as much as I did. I love that the branches used were from a fallen willow tree. I love willow trees. Always had as a kid. 

The one of the top right is mine, purple sting, all three have the amethyst gems. My son's bottom left, blue (ironic because he's a lefty, didn't mean to set the pics up this way. And my daughter's is the last, more turquoise. Kids love it and every morning since Christmas day, we place them in the sun each morning for a few hours. So the dream catchers and gems can recharge and be ready for the night. If anyone of you is interested in your own dream catcher, I know the holidays are over but this would make a wonderful personalized gift at any time of the year. I am glad I bought this gift for us. Can you believe this is the last Sunday of 2014? How quick this past year came and went. I hope you all had a wonderful year and are ready to embrace this new one with open arms. And even if this past year you fell on any hardship, and there is nothing that can be done right now, guess what, you are still here and you are reading this here blog.You are alive and well. No, stuff and thangs may not have gone great, but you are here today and you over came them, what ever it may have been. Let go of what doesn't suit or support you. Your heart and soul will be happiest when you do. And always surround yourself with people that lift you up, always.. And in the day and age of internet and social media. We are bound to find and connect with someone out there. But make sure that your circle is one that will lift you into the white light of positive energy. Surround yourself with those that will bring out the very best in you. Those, that will cheer you like you will cheer for them. Those, that will hold your hand and hug you even via google plus and or whichever social media you fancy. Surround yourself with those that when you come together after not seeing each other for so long, its like no time has passed and you are, home. I'd like to enter this New Year thanking all those who I have been friends with throughout my time on this earth. I have had people come into my life and walk by my side and together we walk in each others journey. I have also come upon some that The Universe brought us together only for a short time. I hope we were able to take what we could in our passing. (don't forget to drink your water as you continue reading :))

When we surround ourselves with positive people, positive energy..this is what comes to us ten fold. Stay around those that bring out the light, not keep you in the dark. I say let us use this last Sunday of 2014 to maybe write down or bring forth what isn't supporting you and or that isn't bringing you into the light. Let us use these final days of 2014 to purge out what we do not want to take with us in this New Year. Write them down so you can burn them, and let them all go a few minutes before midnight. 

So, you can toast in the New Year with a positive heart. You could also wait until the first Full Moon of the year, which is, January 5, 2015. I will of course smudge both days but will write and burn my list a few minutes before midnight on New Years Eve instead of the Full Moon. For me I feel it a bit more symbolic doing it before midnight on New Years Eve. This way I can say farewell to the past year and all that didn't suit or support my and my children's needs and have a toast and welcome this New Year with champagne. 

I wish you all a safe and Happy New Years Eve celebration with your family and loved ones. May this New Year bring you lots of love and light and for good health to surround you and yours always..... Lets begin our smudging, eh?   

(This loose sage I am using today in my shell was gifted to me when I purchased my and my kids dream catchers, my first time using loose sage, I've always used it in a bundle. I actually liked the loose sage.)

Please cleanse US ALL of any negative energy from this past work week and or any holiday blues some may have. Cleanse us all from any negative energy from this past year as well. Release us all from any bad feelings that does not do well for our soul. If it's negative let the element water wash it away, let the element fire burn it to ash and let the wind blow it away and carry it in the air. I finally ask that earth to help ground us as we may let go of what may be weighing us down. Release us of what doesn't support our aura. 

I ask that this sage smoke carry away any negative energy so we may begin this week in a circle of wonderful positive and protective white light. Please Lord and Universe help me unblock all of these negative energies that my zenful readers may have. Smudge and cleanse us all of any negative energy that does not suit or support our needs. 

With this cedar please keep each of us in a protective white light as the holiday season come to a close as we end this year and begin a New. Protect those we love so that all of our loved ones are protected during this time.

Happy Winter Solstice and Happy New Moon Monday

Hello Happy Yule and Merry Christmas to you all!!! How are you all today? Happy Zenful Monday!! Today is the first day of winter, so Happy Winter Solstice, and Happy New Moon Monday as well. How was your week and weekend on this Monday Eve before Christmas Day? Have you all finished your shopping yet? I know its crazy busy out there in the stores. I hope you all are done at this point and are just enjoying the wrapping and or baking and spending time with your families part of the season. It’s like a major countdown for children everywhere. lol Santa and all coming in two/three days to go.(depending which time zone you’re in. =) ) 

 

Charlie Brown Christmas baybay!!

It goes without saying that Christmas isn’t just about “materialistic” gift giving. It’s about a Spirit, an….energy, in the air that wraps around you and your family. An energy that has your senses; sights, sounds, smells and tastes on alert. It’s a warm and coziness that reaches deep within. However one decorates, there is something about bringing a tree from the outside in, garland, wreath on the door, and dressing it up in lights bows and ornaments. That scent of pine, and the scent of “the woods” when you add fresh water (if the tree is real; I miss it, I have a fake one now). It’s nice to have and continue little traditions with your family so they can share with their own families (when they have their own). 

 

And even if you have no kids, so what, before I became a mom, I always decorated for Christmas. When I first lived on my own, good story; I had a roommate who was from Maine, and she brought back an honest to goodness Charlie Brown Christmas tree. HaHa. We bought only a few decorations as to keep with the theme. That was a great Christmas. haha Bucket List check. In my opinion you haven’t really had a Christmas if you didn’t have your own Charlie Brown Christmas tree at some point. hahaha.

Now, despite my kids being older and no longer believing in Santa, I will still cook Christmas Eve/ and Day Dinner. (Yes you read write both days, lol =P ); A low maintenance meal on the Eve and major meal on the Day of.  Spending time with each other is the best and one of our favorites Christmas pass times is to have, “A Christmas Story,” on in the background when the TV is on. hahaha love it. “You’ll shoot your eye out.” “Fragile,... I think its Italian.” haha good times.

We make sugar cookies and decorate them for “Santa” yes, we will still do this. lol My kids are 11 and 17 years old now and I will still do this for as long as they are with me during the Christmas time. I do smudge during the day and that always adds to the warmth and the positive energy in my home. My kids love it and I enjoy giving them that warmth and loving energy during this time. I took some time off work to help me with my food preparation. This too adds to the Christmas Energy in my home. As I am sure it adds it to yours. My kids start their Winter break on Tuesday afternoon and I took Wednesday off so as to give myself a mini Christmas holiday (as my Australian sistahs say, wink)

I have much to be thankful for at present and despite the major changes in my journey I want to thank 2014 for its challenges that turned into lessons. So I am going to do a little smudging ceremony for myself and my children. I am going to make it special; I’ll use candles, our gems and smudge us. And then enjoy our meal and desserts in thanks after. I am very excited. And I know my kids will be too. I will of course take pictures of our little set up and share them with you all this coming Sunday after the Christmas festivities. May this Holiday time be filled with lots of warmth, good health, love and much joy now and always for you and yours. Before I begin, and I hope you’ve been drinking your water, I have something more to share. 

 

As you know, my Zenful Journey has now lead me to be able to help quite a few people that have become very great friends, family even. And in my Zenful journey, I had wanted to find other likeminded people, which I am grateful to have found. But I also wanted to find likeminded people that would share a piece of themselves, their art, their healings, and their hearts. And wow have I. I had mentioned before in one of my past blogs, how I was in a Reiki Meditation Circle a while back. It was so very interesting to me because I felt that the Reiki Medication was very much like when I use Sage to smudge someone’s energy. The only difference was it was all in one’s own aura (hands) instead of using the energy of the herb. I am not sure if I am explaining it correctly but this is how I can make sense of it. =) In my journey I have met via Instagram and Etsy, a few people who make lovely gemstone jewelry (Reiki charged) and or Dream Catchers that have helped me in the same way my smudging had helped others. I am so grateful and feel Blessed that these people have been on my journey’s path. I had wanted a Dream Catcher for a very long time but didn’t want one that was manufactured but, made with loving energy and with a rich history as well. And after a long wait, boy had I found one and more. I purchased one for my children and myself. I used it for the first time this past weekend and I can’t even tell you how it has helped me. I can’t explain it. All I can say is that since I had begun searching for a Dream Catchers (these past weeks), my dreams have become clearer, I can remember them. Before I never could remember if I dreamt and always figured I never dreamt at all. But, now it’s different, in a good way. I know it has to do with the use of my gems and my own smudging but I know that the Dream Catcher was the icing that I needed. I’d like to share the link to their sites on Etsy. I have to hide my so my kids won’t see. They have no idea I ordered one for them.

I've Return(ith) on the Twelfth Day(ith) of Christmas(ith)

Hello and Merry Christmas my Zenful readers. I hope you and your family are enjoying this holiday season. And that today’s surprise entry finds you and yours healthy, happy and well. It's been a very long time since I've written an entry, I know. Life can get in the way and I needed to take a beat and do for me. Changes in life required me so. I feel it isn't healthy to put your too personal issues whatever it may be on social media. It's really no ones business. It boggles my mind when people still do just that. Share yes but good grief. Lol keep it for the super close ones and bestest and dearest friends. Which that's the journey I decide to take. It was time away that was well needed and well spent.   

It's hard to believe that we are in December and more that the Yule is less than two weeks away. Followed by welcoming the New Year the following week. I've never been much of a New Years resolutionist. (<HA wordage!) I feel it's all caca. Lol. I mean we say what we want to change and or get rid of etc., dieting, starting the gym. Quitting this or that. But it seems after a few weeks some may lose that New Year's Eve resolution push and down the toilet goes those resolutions. Maybe they put too much on themselves who knows. But I never set any resolutions. I feel we should aspire to do our very best every day. Not just make one change or two at the start of a new year. It should be a daily thang. (& stuff) Since I have been off blogland, I still have been smudging. So you all know that I will have a little smudging ceremony for New Years Eve. =) I have switched a few of my candle holders and the color of the candles to represent not only their specific meanings but to represent Christmas and winter as well. I hope you enjoy the pictures below. Follow your Light

Good Day my Zenful readers. I know its been a bit since my last entry. I hope that you all have been well during these past few weeks. I needed to step away, myself for a bit, is why I hadn't written. Any how... I can trust you all have your water to drink for cleansing as we begin. I'd like to talk about something that is pretty close to my heart. I can't get into major details so I shall be cryptic and to the point. 

I want to use my words today as a starter for healing. Healing isn't an easy task as we already know. We don't like to remember what once was pain and or a fear that paralyzes you. Takes you to dark place, with no sign of light. But we can't help feel that no matter what that dark secret was, is, who we are. Whether you were the victim of sexual, physical, and or verbal abuse. Is there more? Have I missed one? I pray not. There needn't be more. These are too many as is. For even as I write these words my eyes fill with tears.........................excuse me..........................sorry I didn't have my tissues lol.

Lets continue by finding a comfy place so we can begin our smudging and cleansing of these negative energies within. If you too smudge have your sage bundle ready. Your drinking water, and or your gemstones if you use them, light a candle even. And don't forget your tissues. Once you are in your comfy spot, begin your yoga breathing as part of your cleansing. Inhale the negative, and on your exhale let it all out. Blowing it away from you. If you can't light a candle please use the images below to help you.

I'd like to continue by saying that, no matter what has been said to us. NO one deserves to be in an unsafe harmful to their health, body, mind, and soul, situation. When we grow up in a harmful environment it isn't our fault that we have been given the journey we have been given. I didn't choose to be born in a home where my father would beat my mother because he drank too much. I didn't choose to have parents that wouldn't keep their child safe from abuse. I was born into it. Such is life as they say, eh?. Ducked up but true! 

But as I got older there was a light in me. I felt it. That I now know has shined onto my journey thus far. This light is in all of us. We can choose to keep nurturing that light, always feeding that flame so it can keep burning warm and strong, so it never goes out or let it go black. We all have it. Its up to us if we choose to keep that light burning. Some sad to say are too weak, because their environment was too dark. The darkness can darken the soul and keeps their fire from burning and they get lost in their own darkness. Sometimes never finding their way back. 

But then sometimes there's others that have been given the gift of a never ending amber light. A small star in us that lights bright when surrounded by positive energy. But glows amber, dim, when surrounded by negative energy. But it is still lit. We need to latch on to like minded, when we see their star glow. For their pure energy will help our own star shine just as bright. I will not let what happened to me growing up, control who I choose to be now. It. was. not. my. fault. Like it isn't yours. Even as we get older. Sometimes situations happen that we have no control over, no one knows the answers why. And you aren't meant to know why, not just yet. If your mind always drags with the following wordage, I deserve this because,.. this always happens to me, and or the famous, I always have bad luck. Yup, you will always continue to find yourself in negative negative surroundings.

Let us take a deep breath and release what we can today. Lets begin to heal ourselves of past hurts that were beyond our control but we were blamed or felt blamed for. We are not at fault for what we were born into. We are at fault however, for letting our star go dim when we were given its gift of light to begin with. Go to where the light is. Follow the light and good positive energy and everything else will work out.

Lets take a deep breathe now and gather all that negative energy that is in us so we can release it as we exhale. We will let it out of our aura. Are you in need of cleansing to help you on a journey you are on? Is there something deep with in you, that you need to make a decision on but you don't know where to begin. Have you ended a relationship but there is still some stuff that needs to be cleansed for you to fully move on? Is there work build up that needs to be cleansed? Are you looking for a job but feel there may be energy blocks, lets cleanse that up as well. Use this time to cleanse anything that is blocking you so you may begin seeing that light shining. Its shining so bright for you, waiting for you. 

Always remember to surround yourself with people that will help shine their own light on you. When you surround yourself with positive people you see yourself, how they see you. When you surround yourself by negative energy on a daily basis without any connection to positive, wow I feel bad for yeah. Positive attacks positive. Misery loves company. You decide how you want to leave. But its so much fun on the positive side!!! Plus we have cookies!! =) Lets begin smudging shall way?? Take a deep breath everyone......

Please helps us heal from our pain, and protect us from our own fears, guide us and shine light in our revelations, so that what our life has already shown us. We take and learn from it. And are move on.

Please let us ALL have a drama free and great work week ahead. Let our kids have a wonderful and negative free week at school and or day care. And or that their last days of school ended positive. 

Please let ALL issues regarding friendships, spouses or family be resolved as they are meant to be. In a kind and peaceful manner. 

Let what we can not change go, so we may rid us of the negative to allow space for the positive that is waiting for us all. 

Please see the sage smoke carry away all your worries and negative energies; let the smoke blow them away with the element wind, burn them away with the element fire, soak them away with the element water so that the element earth may ground you. Take these few minutes to visual this and clear this away......

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Good Day, My Zenful readers, how are you this Sunday Smudge Day? I hope you had a positive week with your family. On my end my kiddies had April vacation "week" off, aka spring break, which I too, took off from work. Crazy to believe that in two months they will have finished yet another school year. Their journeys are definitely coasting. Good times for them. I enjoyed my week away from work. It was much needed and appreciated. My minion and I worked on our mini garden this week as well as headed to the movies to see Rio 2 with friends, good movie btw. All in all we had a pleasant week of recharging our human batteries. Now to begin this back to work and school week. I am sure despite the grunts of waking up early and going back the early wake ups, it'll be a positive one for sure. ~~We drinking water as I begin, this weeks entry?

I have been noticing as of late, and liking a lot of these positive posts I have read. I will soon be share with you. These have constantly called to me in some form or way in my journey. And I am certain you too will enjoy them. 

I am the gardener of my life. (as its been said, in another recent post I read) I believe this to be true. We often tend to leave flowers that have grown in our garden despite the bloom are not flowers at all. But they are in fact weeds that eventually take over our lovely garden. I have always removed what wasn't positive so my garden doesn't stop short of growing in its full potential. For this my garden is small, strong, and filled with the most beautiful of scents. I can't state the following enough. When you surround yourself with positive people, you will see such beauty and positive things around you. This beauty and positiveness will grow in abundance in your own garden. If you surround yourself with negativity then, that's what will also surround you. So your garden of life is shaded, so no new real growth really happens. Why would you want less in your life. Why wouldn't you want more...more happiness and a wonderful feeling inside you everyday, even if things don't go the way we'd like. Our garden still blooms. We must find a way to stay positive. Of course there will be times when some folks energies can't be lifted. Their issues are too big for us to try to help. And that's okay, that's their journey not ours. Sorry, but for me, if one isn't trying to better themselves why be around the constant negativity. Its just darkening your aura, your energy,....your garden. 

I want bloom in my garden/life. I love my self that much to want it. Life can shake us up and screw us over but then we see the bright sunlight that shines on this one rose. And we can slowly see that rose stand taller and taller, as if by magic. That magic simple and true is that of self love and surrounding yourself to share in that love within with like minded people. You will soon see that those areas where once seeds grew have now been replaced by not only roses but lavender, lilies, lilacs, daisys, and sunflowers.

~Focus on the candles, and your breathing. Then go to your happy place where ever that may be. Breath in the bad so you may release it, on your exhale.

I'd like to ask The Lord our Father as well as The Universe to be here with us today on this Sunday as I smudge & cleanse each of those that are reading. 

I'd like to invite my ancestors, so they too may join us. I'd like to call on the elements; earth, water, air, & fire to surround us with their energy. 

I'd like to call on the goddess of the north, east, south & west. As well as our archangels Raphael for healing, Michael for protection, Gabriel for revelation & Uriel for wisdom

Please release us ALL of any negative energy that does not suit or support our needs. Please Lord and Universe be here with us and help us during our time of need, of our healing, of our need of protection, guide us in our revelations, and help us with our wisdom that all choices are wise ones. 

Please let us ALL have a drama free and great work week ahead. Let our kids have a wonderful and negative free week at school and or day care. Please let ALL issues regarding friendships, spouses or family be resolved as they are meant to be. In a kind and peaceful manner. 

Let what we can not change go, so we may rid us of any negativity and give us space for the positive that is waiting for us all. 

Please see the sage smoke carry away all your worries and blow them away with the element wind, burn them away with the element fire, soak them away with the element water so that the element earth may ground you. Take these few minutes to visual this and clear this away......

I'd like to thank you Lord and the Universe, as well as those reading today for giving me the opportunity to share my Zenful experience.

I want to thank my ancestors for being present. I'd like to also, thank the elements earth, water, air, and fire for being with us.

Thank you Lord and Universe for always looking out for us and for giving us all the Blessings we have. Thank you for my yesterday, for my today and for the abundance of a wonderful week ahead.
