New Moon, New Beginnings

Hello my Zenful readers. How are you on this second New Moon Zenful Sunday of the month? I hope you had a positive week. Even though spring sprung a lil over a week ago, it'll take a while for the weather to feel, "spring like." But I can smell spring in the air. I am looking forward for the sunnier and warmer weather. To begin my little porch garden. That feeling of new beginnings is here. I can all but feel it's gentle feathers caressing me as a mediate. Good times. 

I find it fitting that I am learning new things in my Zenful journey as the days approach to this, second, New Moon. Makes this experience so much more special. 

I will write down my New Moon wishes and call them to light during my New Moon Ceremony. 

My little minion will be helping me this time. I am excited for that as well. Her enthusiasm makes me cheesy. =) We will do a little mother, daughter; smudging, and focus on our New Moon wishes, and finish it off with some mediation and yoga. It'll be awesome to create these memories with her. (I know ya'll are drinking your water right? Wait for the wine, beerah or whiskey until the end of this Zenful Blog, thank you. ;) hehe)

Is there anything you are wanting to wish for? Maybe something that you need to change and bring forth in a new light? Lets do this together shall we? I will smudge first then we can take the time to write down our wishes. We will focus and bring forth our wishes so we can see it in our minds eye. Remember, thoughts become things. Then I'll add the closing prayer. =) Let's do this.

I'd like to ask The Lord our Father as well as The Universe to be here with us today on this special second new moon of March as I smudge and cleanse each of those that are reading this in our journey for the greatness our new beginning has in store for us. 

I'd like to call on my ancestors, as well as yours, so they too may be with us as we collect our strength. I'd like to call on the elements; earth, water, air, & fire to surround us with their energy. 

I'd like to call on the goddess of the north, east, south & west. As well as our archangels Raphael for healing, Michael for protection, Gabriel for revelation & Uriel for wisdom

Please release us ALL of any negative energy, during this second new moon ritual, release, repel, and banish anything that does not suit or support our well being, our needs. 

Please Lord and Universe be here with us as we write down our wishes and visualize them and guide their energies to come to us.

Please let us ALL have a drama free and great work week ahead. Let our kids have a wonderful week at school and or day care. Please let ALL issues regarding friendships, spouses or family be resolved as they are meant to be. In a kind and peaceful manner. Let what we can not change go, to rid us of any negativity, and give us space for the positive that is waiting on us.

This One's, For You Kid....

Good Day my Zenful readers and happy Zenful Sunday to you all. I hope that you and your family had a great week.  The Spring Equinox was this past Thursday and even though the weather isn't showing any warmer temperatures just yet, in my neck of the woods, I am excited to welcome that Spring scent that is already in the air. There's nothing quite like it. The scent of each season changing. I love it. 

This Sunday's blog is going to be for you. The theme for today is for you to cleanse and remove what no longer suits or supports your needs. Is there something that you've been trying to work out and it has you worried? Or maybe you and your family will be going through a major change soon. And you need calming of whats to come. Use this time to smudge what is needed away and or to give you clarity. I have searched for some motivational and inspirational quotes that I'd like you to read. As you read remember to drink your water and towards the end I will start smudging. Hope you enjoy these great posts from some great people. 

Use this time to sit in a quiet spot and release the weeks negative energies, whatever they may be. Take in a deep breathe and release it all away. Let your mind go blank to only make room for this moment of Zenfulness.

The Full Moon and the Welcoming of Spring

Salutations my Zenful readers. How are you all? I hope you had a great week and if you did not; that you had the support of good friends and family to help carry you through. It does make all the difference, I can promise you that. I feel it helps to have a positive influence in my live, when I need to vent or let go of something; if you will, of what is bothering me by saying it aloud. But once it is spoken, we need to begin to let it go too. I know its easier said than done. That's why I feel that having steps in doing so will help you remove any negative energy that you may have. For some it may come natural to let go; but when one has grown accustom to hearing negative words, whether its, your parents, your partner, your children, your family members or coworkers, whom ever it is, what ever the situation is. If one keeps on harping over this negative matter, then you will never be free of it. You won't be happy, and life is too short to be unhappy. The grass will be greener,  the blue skies bluer, and the clouds puffier. Again, it isn't easy, but once you have found your Zen. Everything else will fall into place, and look even better than you could imagine. For me as you all know, my Zen is my smudging, my having my gemstones close, surrounding my aura with positive energy and helping those I have with my own Zen. (drink your water my zenful readers)



Today, is The Full Moon, The Crow Moon; 
(the Worm Moon) Snow slowly begins to melt, the ground softens, and earthworms show their heads again and their castings or fecal matter can be found. Other signs of spring gave rise to other variations: the cawing of crows (the Crow Moon); formation of crusts on the snow from repeated thawing and freezing (the Crust Moon); and the time for tapping maple trees (the Sap Moon). Christian settlers also called this the Lenten Moon and considered it the last moon of winter. 

Someone special to me wished me a Happy Crow Moon Sunday. I was so cheesy. I looked up the meaning of this months Full Moon (as well as the other meanings) It was all so very interesting to me. I had looked them up before but didn't feel its energy until today. I am excited to learn more of each as they come to pass. I am feeling more at peace at where my Zenful journey's path has led me. I feel that on this Full Moon, our welcoming the Spring season and the beginning of a new harvest, I feel that more wonderful new things are coming for me as well as those whom I am connected to. What a great feeling to have during this special Full Moon evening. The energy is already flowing for those around me. Doors have closed so that others can open. Even when it feels that there isn't going to be a way out whatever it is you may be going through. 

When having a positive mind set, and having positive people around you, no matter what, life will bring us what we deserve,...but only when you are surrounded by the light of positive energy. That light has touched my friends and its wonderful to be a part of their journey. To hear about letters being received from work for a new class your eligible to take, to further your career; all aboard on greatness the train, or maybe you've been newly hired for a position that you wanted and was nervous getting. 

Or maybe you didn't expect the end of your journey, that up to this point had been painful, to be as freeing and now feeling as a weight has been lifted. How wonderful it is to be around this positive greatness, indeed.

IS there anything you would like to let go and or purge on this Full Moon evening? Whether you write your intent on a piece of paper and you burn it or you only smudge and say those words out loud. Or maybe you may even want to use our smudging time here this evening and read the prayer and use the picture of the sage and candles to help you with your purging journey. It is up to you., to release the negative that surrounds you. There is no space in your life for it. Let only, love, laughter, light, and positive energy surround your being. Full Moon is coming.

Good Day and Happy Sunday Smudge Day My Zenful readers. How is everyone this Sunday? How was you and your family's week? Well I hope. Mine was very positive. My heart is very happy. I was able to smudge for two women that I am now growing closer with than I'd thought I would. I am honored and humbled that they trust me enough to smudge them. It was a positive experience for them both and they both felt the effects. Negative energy of any kind suck! If by me smudging helps clear the negative energy someone has and the out come is they feel that weight has been lifted, or that bad feeling they had is gone. The knot in your neck isn't there. Those weeks of sleepless nights that have plagued you have been freed so now even if you awaken, sleep comes easier than it was just days ago. It makes me a happy camper. =) I also had the opportunity to share one of my gemstone with a coworker who has now turned to be my friend. I smile at how quick it worked for her. Ain't no body got time for negative energy!! lol.

As I wrap up this blog, I am sure you all are drinking your water and settled into a quit place where you can meditate and read and feel the Sunday Smudge to ready us for a positive week ahead. Next Sunday (& I am sure this time, I looked it up on "trusty" google and on my moon phase app, lol) the 16th, is the Full Moon, and the coming Thursday is the 1st day of spring, Spring Solstice. (I'm wicked excited about this) 
Is there something you want to let go that is lingering in you? Maybe you would like a way to purge it away. This Sunday, would be a great and extra special time to do so. This full moon you can light a candle (your astral color) and write down what your intent is of what you want to let get. You can whip up wordage such as, I release any negative feelings I have of myself; I will no longer feel guilty because of...(you fill the blank), I will release this (whatever issue it is) because it no longer suits or supports my needs; I release (who or what ever issue) your hold on me on this Full Moon are a few things that come to mind, that may help you release what is needed. Write it down on a piece of paper and light your candle. I have used a cooking pot before (now I have a very tiny cast iron skillet, seen in a past blog) to light the intent you've written down. Just read your words aloud and focus on your words and as you light the paper safely aflame those feelings will lift also. I have done it and its a very freeing experience. March, day after the New Moon

Hello, my Zenful readers. How are you and your family this Zenful Sunday? I have come to the realization that at times I will not be able to write an entry each Sunday. =) Life gets in the way and before I know its Sunday 12, and the laundry isn't done. Don't judge me. =P lol So, I've been thinking on how I should change the flow of this blog. It needs some purging I think. =) Once I have an idea in mind I promise to share it with you all. I know and an honored that there are a few that look forward to Sunday's Smudge Day. So I won't end the smudging part. I may just do that, offer weekly smudging. Even if I don't write an intro. :) I'm excited because I'm slowly stocking up for the spring and summer solstice. I only need new tea candle holders and I already have them in mind and bed to purchase them at AC Moore.

Spring is coming closer even if it doesn't feel it just yet. So this is a perfect time, to begin a new change. (Lets start drinking water to ready us for our cleansing) so I'm slowly starting my new change by updating my alter/my smudge area. 

Spring as I've mentioned is such a great time for new change;

New beginnings. The old cold of the earth begins to thaw. To make way for the seeds and sun and warmer temps which is on it's way. Its interesting to think of where I was this time, this spring almost 4 years ago; to where I am today. With the help of good friends and with my smudging both helped me out of the darkness I was in. Everything happens for a reason, they say. Boy ain't that the truth. 

I feel sometimes things need to happen to you so that when it happens to those around you, you can share in their joy, their pain, or their loss. Maybe you are strong enough to carry this pain so that when it's felt again by those around you, you are able to pick them up, since they feel they can not get up. For me, I know, now, my beginning journey on this earth though was the scariest and saddest years of my childhood. I know there is nothing I can't face now compared to what I dealt with at such a young age. I know that now. 

I am here to tell those that feel lost and or confused; those that are going through something devastating, if you feel this weight on your chest won't ever ease, I am here to tell you it will!! If you are going through a separation, divorce, believe me when I tell you, because I too was there. It just may be for the best. Find your worth and love YOU first and when you do, then you will know, if you have done the right thing. Ladies, also take note...if your man doesn't beg you back and promise to do what he can to be true to you, out of experience, you are better off!! It will hurt like a bitch, but let him go. Once you heal and find your worth, love you. You will know that, you was better off, because you are too good for him. He couldn't handle you anyways. 

If you feel that the love is lost that there isn't anything to hold it together. Same deal applies. We must love us first before we can show love for others. We should not just stay in a relationship out of duty or loyalty, but for love. IF one has love, everything else can be worked out. But it needs to be clear on both sides. If love is there on both sides, then the battle is half won. 

But if it isn't, the pain will make it hard. But its time to let go. Our fear of the unknown is gripping. But once you have, all else gets easier. Trust me. After I smudged tons and with the help of my good friends I got out of my own darkness. I knew things would be better. And they are. Not the way I thought. Its work every day. But that's what any relationship is, work. This is a very personal private journey for you and your partner. It shouldn't be shared with anyone else. Yes vent when you need to. But not around negative energy or negative influences; that shouldn't be allowed into your relationship. On this note I would like to begin our smudging ceremony on this Sunday, the day after the New Moon of the first day of March.
