Thanksgiving Sunday Eve...

Hello my Zenful Readers. :) How are you all today? How was your week and weekend over all? Mine has been utterly exhausting. It's been very busy at work for me. Our busiest time of the year. More so because a new program has been implemented. So needless to say I'm coming home from work exhausted. I almost didn't write an entry today. I was of course, going to communicate this with you, my Zenful readers. But after talking to my hubby about how I knew that a few of my readers looked forward to the readings and Sunday Smudge Day I knew I had to. I've had a few of my friends that read my blog actually contact me on what time I'd be posting. (It was later than usually, a few Sundays ago and I hadn't posted the Blog yet) I knew I had to post one after thinking about that. And as I began, I smiled; it was meant. I could feel the energy as my thoughts flowed and I typed.

It's obvious, of course, what my entry will be about today. Yup! Being Thankful. :) I of course am thankful for the life I've had. All of it. And if you know me, deeply know me, my journey didn't begin in a positive light. I was in the shadows for many years. I'm thankful for where my journey has led me. I wouldn't be here now had my book of life been written other wise. Yes, some of my youth had been hard but, I am thankful for it. I wouldn't be a mother of two wonderfully good hearted children and I'm so thankful for that. I'm grateful for our family cat Valentine's. (Pictured below) And I'm also thankful for having the opportunity to be married to my children's father, my best friend; since we were ten and eleven years old. We've been together for seventeen years, married eleven out of the seventeen. Our years haven't been without great challenge and at times we've thought,...this is it. But we have come together full circle. I know I can say for the both of us that we are grateful for where our journey has led us. It wasn't and isn't easy. But we are grateful for the path we have been led to.

I'm grateful for my job despite how frustrating it can be. I'm grateful for that. Because then I know I have a job I can be frustrated with. I'm grateful that we both have good jobs so we are able to provide a decent home for the small family we have created.

I am grateful for the friends I have. And now is where I'll give my shout outs! I'm grateful for the following people that mean so much to me. Thank you for being my friend through my good times and bad. And being there for me when I didn't have the strength to be strong.

Thank you, Mari, Ziggy, Amy, Vicki, Aida, Yessi, Jill/family, Bonnie/Rosie, Lisa.

For those that I've just met since I launched my Zenful Blog via my Google+ account. I'm so thankful for you all as well. I'm grateful for the friendship that we have developed over these short weeks which have now turned into months. G.C., Lola, Dee, Jane, Lisa, Karen, Billy, Linda, Darcy, Elizabeth, & Hector.

For those relationships that have just begun to blossom, I'm grateful for you as well.

The laughs and support we give each other is as if we have known each other forever. It's amazing. I'm thankful for that! I thank each of you for that!

I'd like to wrap up this Thankful Blog with a huge THANK YOU to those that have taken the time to read all my Zenful Sunday Smudge Day Blog! I hope they help get your week started.

Shall we begin to smudge? I already know you've been drinking water as you've been reading. :) Lets get to it.

Opening smudge prayer:
I'd like to ask The Lord our Father as well The Universe to be here with us today as I smudge & cleanse each of those that are reading this.

I'd like to also ask my ancestors to be present, as well as the elements earth, rain, wind, & fire to be here with us. I'd like to call on the goddess of the north, east, south & west. As well as our archangels Raphael for healing, Michael for protection, Gabriel for revelation & Uriel for wisdom.

Please release us all of any negative energy that does not suit or support our needs. Please Lord and Universe be here with us and help us during our time of needing healing, protection, revelation, and wisdom.

Please let us all have a drama free and great work week. Let our kids have a wonderful week at school and or day care. Please let all issues regarding friendships, spouses or family be resolved as they are meant to be. In a kind and peaceful manner.

Please see the sage smoke carry away all your worries and blow them away with the element wind, burn them away with the element fire, soak them away with the element water so that the element earth may ground you. Take these few minutes to visual this and clear this away......

Closing smudge prayer:
I'd like to THANK YOU Lord and the Universe for giving me opportunity to share my Zenful experience with others. I want to thank my ancestors for being present. I'd like to also, thank the elements earth, rain, wind, & fire for being with us. I'd like to thank the goddess of the north, east, south & west. As well as our archangels Raphael for healing, Michael for protection, Gabriel for revelation & Uriel for wisdom.

Thank you Lord and Universe for always looking out for us and for giving us all the Blessings we have. Thank you for my yesterday, for my today and for the abundance of a wonderful week ahead.

Wishing all my Zenful readers a very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and friends.

November's Full Moon Purging.

Hello and Happy Sunday my fellow Zenful readers. How are you today? How was your week? And how's your weekend been? I've been on relax mode. Which is what I needed. I was feeling under the weather mid week and in listening to my body I wanted to rest this weekend to prepare for the busy work week I know I have ahead. Not to mention Thanksgiving  Day/long weekend after that. I am very excited for Thanksgiving Day. It's one of the few days a year that I go all out for my family and cook and bake everyone's favorite foods and desserts. And in the end I have an easy long weekend with the family with plenty of yumminess to heat and serve from all our leftovers. I also start decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving so it makes it very easy for me after all the cooking and baking.

As I type I can't help but feel the excitement and coziness that surrounds my home for the holidays season. During this time my home carries the scent of apple and cinnamon as one comes in. I have a two cinnamon shaped brooms over both our front door and back door of our home. I love the scene as I walk into our home after a long day at work. It literally melts my stress away. That wonderful healing scent of cinnamon and apple. I've been ignoring all the early Christmas decorations that have already filled the stores. They've started earlier this year and I am not ready for it. But now, today, that we are only one more weekend away from Thanksgiving Day I'm feeling the magic that is, The Christmas Spirit. :) But before we can think of Saint Nick, let's get through this November's Full Moon shall we? Do you have your water handy? Drink up as you get your items ready for this purging ritual.

Let's get right to it, shall we readers? First off, I'd like to share with you a site that will give you a nice read on the Full Moon Ritual. I loved how I attracted this site to me in my google search. I am a firm believer that we attract what is in our thoughts. I wanted a good easy ready site on this subject and this is what I got. Thank you Universe!!!

http://www.soulalchemyhealing.com/full-moon-release.html

The items you will need for your purging ceremony. A pencil and paper so you're able to write down on paper what you need to purge, release, change and or let go of. I wrote four items down. You will also need a fire proof pot to let each of your intents burn as well as water in case the fire gets out of hand. Of course when handling lighters, matchers or any type of flames, please be extra careful.

Once I had written down my intent of what my changes will be, I began with my ceremony. Nothing much has changed or is different from our usual past Sunday Smudge Days, as you view the pictures below you will see.
I have, however, added a bowl of water to represent the element, water. I have the gemstones and even the heart shaped painted rock to represent, earth; candles lit represent, fire, and air, which since I'm inside my home, we'll make due with the air in my lungs. We will also be outdoors and will be able to use the element, air when we go outside for the purging part.

Let's begin with our opening smudging prayer. I'd like to ask The Lord our Father as well The Universe to be here with us today as I smudge on this Full Moon Sunday and cleanse each of those that are reading this.

I'd like to use this time for you to join me in saying each of our intent out loud as well as light each of our intents aflame so that we may begin the change, let go, purge, and or release that negativity, that bad feeling that we may be holding on.

Below you will see a picture of the items I use for my ceremony. Water, Earth, and Fire.
~~Don't forget to breathe and release the negative energies when you exhale~~

Let the flame flicker and eat away at what we are changing to make us a better individual for ourselves, our children, our spouse, and our friends and family members. We have the control to change and mold our lives the way we want it. Outside crap can get in the way of this but we must learn to not forget so we can be a happy human. We are each beautiful individuals; we are worthy of wonderful things. Let go of any doubt you may have of yourself. If this doubt was planted because of a past negative experience. Let us let go together. Let us look at life with a positive light. Hold my hand and I will help you walk out of darkness. You are not alone. None of us are. Unless we choose to be. There are still good people out there. We must attract that so we may receive it and surround ourselves of the wondrous light of love and laugher and positive energy.
Let your messages be released into the Universe so the may be heard....

Please see the sage smoke carry away all your worries, intents, and blow them away with the element wind, burn them away with the element fire, soak them away with the element water so that the element earth may ground you.

Take these few minutes to visual this and clear this away......

Everyone okay??
We are nearly done :) now for the closing prayer.

I'd like to thank you Lord and the Universe for giving me opportunity to share my Zenful experience with others on This November Full Moon Sunday.

I'd like to leave you with something I's written a while ago. I feel it's appropriate and fits with the theme of this Blog. Thank you again for joining me on my journey. Until next week.

People come into your life for a reason. These people are whispers in our pages, of our, book of life. These whispers may go as far back as childhood. And the whispers of friendship may be long, the bond tight.
But as does time. All things change. It's okay for these whispers to fade...to end even. Take what a friendship gives, and thats life's many lessons, whether from their eyes or yours. Each whisper is a message. One can have a person pop into their lives. The whispers SO amazing because of the short amount of time one knew the person. One usually goes thru the trusting stages of that whisper/friendship. But that too is a lesson learned.
For those friendships that are new, the whispers may be long lasting.
So if one feels that a friendship has ended, it's okay. Life is a constant change. We each change and flow through our book of life. Some whispers are meant to stay until your last days. Other whispers leave when you thought they'd never. Appreciate ALL that life hands you. Our lives are not written in stone; so laugh from within AND deeply, AND love with all that you have AND all that you are. Blessed Be.

Birthday Blessings.

Good morning and happy Sunday my Zenful readers. How are you on this brisk Sunday? How was your week? I hope you had a pleasant week weather with your family and at work. November is making its way where I'm from. I live in the New England area and the weather is never consistent. One day it's 30 degrees and cold the next day it's a like 50 degrees and warmer. Lol. Gotta love New England, as they always say. After nearly 40 years of living here I've grown accustom to its weather mood swings. :) Some days she blows an autumn breeze my way. Others I can smell that fall crisp air. During the winter days she'll blow a gust of wind that reminds me how wicked she can be with her wind hugs. It all but squeezes the air out of you if you don't cover up with a scarf. That's the New England weather I've come to love. I'm excited for our first snow fall. I've been Blessed by having snow on my birthday. I always see it as a gift from Mr. Freeze. lol I've also been Blessed by having such a great group of friends in my life.

I've mentioned them before in my past blogs. But I think it's important to let those you care for know how you feel and how much they mean to you. Some people come into your life for a short time, yet they leave such an energy with you that you don't, you can't forget about them. (Dee, I miss you)

I've always said that our lives are like a book. And our journeys are our chapters. I'm grateful for each of my journeys. The ugly, the bad, and the great. It's made me who I am today. As hard as some of it may have been. I wouldn't change its course. My journey has also led me to each and everyone of you. And I'm very grateful and humbled by that. Some people I've come to meet, have touched my life for a short time for reasons I may not know but may find out later on, or not. Sometimes we don't have the answers we may be seeking at the moment, on why a person may have entered and or left our life.
They may come in, impact you in a certain way that has given you more confidence. Or maybe they have touched your soul in a way that you will for ever be changed. I'm grateful for every one I've come to meet and know and now call my friends, my family.

I feel Blessed to be able to have learned how to smudge because it has helped my own family and my own friends.

I've even had the opportunity to smudge one of my Google+ besties a few times. (I've mentioned this before) She felt the effects right away and was grateful. Little did she know how grateful I was.. and still am. That she allowed me to help her, and that she was open to my smudging her. That meant a lot to me. Thus making the experience for us both all the more.

This special woman surprised me at my work place by sending me flowers this past Friday with a small soft Bear. (I may have mentioned I collected bears in one of our threads) She planned all this from her home in California. What a most special thing to do for someone, whom, she's only known for a short few months. But in these few short months. This lovely lady and I have connected in a way neither of us expected. And we've grown quite close. You've made such a wonderful great memory for my 40th Birthday weekend. Thank you mi baby girl. Xoxox thank you so very much! I'm grateful for you and your helper from down under :)

I'm also so thankful for those others I've grown close with from my google circle. We have had such great laughs and I'm so grateful for each of you.
I love how we support and encourage each other. We have and bring forward such wonderful positive energy. Our banters make me laugh so hard. It's so wonderful. Thank you for surrounding me with this on a daily. SALU!!! Hugs & chocolate & some Guinny of course! :)

I want to wrap up this Blog by saying thank you to my friends here at home. For the one that's 20 years younger than me and a wonderful first time mom. Despite our age difference we have such a major connection baby sis! Thank you for sharing your & your daughter's life with me.
Thank you for those friends that have been there for me when I needed them the most. You know who you are.

Amy, your encouraging homemade cards I'll cherish them always. Your lavender which I burn and will burn, special today.

And for those days at the Hall when I felt overwhelmed and I'd text you to vent. I'd always get a funny reply to shift my energy. When I need an ibuprofen or four :P You're always there xoxox Or even when you surprise me with a bag of gum and or a yummy cupcake. I thank you.

There's another Cali girl I can't ever forget. She's was born on West side but she's a Bostonian in her heart. I love you my friend, you and Mr cheeks! Xoxox

I dedicate this Sundays Smudge day to you all. May this week be filled with protective, love, great health and positive energy for you and your family. Xoxox

The New Moon In November

Hello my Zenful readers. Happy November and Happy Sunday to you all. How are you this New Moon in November? How was your week over all including your weekend? Did you enjoy your Halloween? The weather was unusually mild by us so it was a lovely warm Halloween for the kids on my neighborhood.

Halloween as you know and I had mentioned is not just a day of "trick or treating". But to also honor those that have passed away. It seems we have all sorts of anniversaries to celebrate when one passes. Would it be to hard to remember them? The knowing that we can't speak to that person, see that person, ever again, is a feeling we never want to feel. One will never know when we may see a loved one again. So for now, let us all embrace one another and love each other because as the saying goes, tomorrow is never promised.

I've been fortunate to not know the devastating feeling of a loved one passing, it's been many years. But I have lost loved ones on the most special of days. Birthdays. It's not easy to loose someone, but to loose them on one's birthday, Father's or Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas even. I can tell you, first hand, those days, will forever be changed, from what it was. It's a bittersweet feeling. But it's up to us to see how we will mourn and remember. Is there a certain time of year that you'd like to remember? The anniversary of the passing? Or maybe their, birthday is best to remember them, or All Hallows' Eve, Thanksgiving, or Christmas even. Any day of our choosing we can remember someone who's passed away. We can celebrate their life. Yes, it is extremely sad they are not longer with us. But since they aren't, why not remember the light that they were when they were with us.

Let us give a moment of silence for those we have lost. I have also lit this one candle to honor them. Lets bring forth their LIGHT with memories of positive energy, laughter, and good times.........................

As I mentioned in my last entry. These coming months are a time for being extra grateful/thankful, for what we have. Yes we should be grateful/thankful everyday, and I am. But why not add a little extra specialness, since it's the Holiday Season. You'll feel good for it. At least it makes me feel good. I'll share some of my Zenful rituals as our Sundays continue.

For today I'd like share My November's New Moon Ritual. I'm hoping you are drinking your water to ready yourself for our Zenful Journey for Sunday Smudge Day.

The new moon is a good time to make a new beginning. To ask for a new love, healing, renew an old commitment to a new resolution.

It's nice to be outside under the night sky looking up at the moon, with candles lit to represent the element fire, a bowl of water for the element water, and for earth burning my sage wand and dried lavender flowers. But I don't own my own home, yet, and sharing a backyard does prevent me from doing anything out doors but I make do with what I have. :)

I usually do my smudging/prayers during the morning or mid afternoon on Sundays. So night rituals isn't something I am able to do, often. However, I have done smudging ceremonies out on my porch. The weather this new moon has kept me indoors. It's windy and rainy today so from past experience it's easiest to do it indoors when the weather isn't in my favor.

Do you have something that you'd like to begin anew? Think of what that is and let's take this journey together in asking the Universe as well as praying for us to be open to receive the new that is waiting for each of us. We will of course also smudge for us all to have a great week.

Let's begin by breathing deeply and exhaling. Let's clear our mind from the everyday noise for these few moments. Let's ready ourselves to enter our Zenful "happy places".
Today, my Zenful happy place is in Australia. I have a google friend that lives there and she posted some wonderful picture of sunsets and sunrises, by her home. They were all lovely. She had this specific one, that I saw myself there and smudging. I knew this would be my Zenful happy place for today's journey. Are we all ready and in our meditative state?

Opening smudge prayer
I'd like to ask The Lord our Father as well as The Universe to be here with us today on this New Moon as I smudge & cleanse each of those that are reading this.

Let our children have a wonderful week at school and daycare. Please let all issues regarding friendship, spouses or family be resolved as they are meant to be, in a kind and peaceful manner.

Please see the sage and lavender smoke carry away your intent for your new beginnings. See the sage smoke carry away all your worries and see them blown away with the element wind, burn them away with the element fire, soak them away with the element water so that the element earth may ground you. Take these few minutes to visual this and clear this away......

(Today you'll see I've burned both lavender as well as sage. The lavender is the "specialness" for me in this New Moon Ritual.)

Closing smudge prayer
I'd like to thank you Lord and the Universe for giving me the opportunity to share my New Moon Zenful experience with others.

Thank you Lord and Universe for always looking out for us and taking our intents to where they need to go. We will be waiting to receive these Positive New Beginnings with open arms. Thank you for giving us all the Blessings we have. Thank you for our yesterday's, for our today's and for the abundance of a wonderful week ahead.
