New Years Week & Full Moon Eve Smudge Day

Good Day and The Happiest New Years to all my Zenful readers. I hope you all had a great final days of 2014 and a great New Year’s Eve and start of the New Year with your family and friends. I hope you all were able to leave behind any and all the negative energy that 2014 brought so you can begin the New Year in a positive light. I did a little Cleansing Ceremony where I wrote down what I no longer wanted to bring along with me in this New Year, burned the piece of paper and smudged my home as the final minutes ticked towards 12:00 AM on 1/1/15. I even had my daughter help me. We had a nice evening just us awaiting midnight and the New Year. (Start drinking some water as I share a few pics of my New Years Eve smudging as well as a few quotes that spoke to me.)

Since I released all negative energy on New Year's Eve, I will not do a major smudge ceremony on tomorrow's Full Moon, however I will smudge. Just not in a ceremonial fashion. I feel very grateful this New Year. I woke up on New Year's Day giddy almost at the coming year. I know this will be a wonderful one for my children and I. 

I had a little health scare this end of the old year and beginning of the new. I had minor surgery to rectify the issue. I am grateful though that I was able to reach out to a few friends here from my google familia. To be surrounded by their support, their love, positive, and healing energy was amazing. I was nervous even though the procedure is a common one. But I was also instantly put at ease from my friends here, from all their postive and loving energies they were sending me. 

I thank you ladies that helped me this week. I pray this Sunday's Smudge Day reaches each of you so that you may have a wonderful week and start of a great New Year. (even if you're not wanting to go to work. hehe) I'd like to share a picture of flowers one of my sisters gifted me. I was so surprised. I am so so grateful and as I write this Blog I can smell the scent of roses and daises next to me.

Its amazing to me when you surround yourself with like minded people that have wonderful energy to share, how their love shines through and their support and healing energies reaches you from all over this globe. I thank you Ladies for Blessing me with your energy this week. I'd like to share with you this lovely bouquet of flowers that Lola gifted me. Thank you so so much!!! Made me feel better instantly when I received them.

Today's smudging I also dedicate to any one who needs it for healing. Whether it be needed for health issues. A lost loved one who's no longer on this earth. Even a past relationship that you may not have entered this New wonderful Year with. There's always light in loss. Even when it seems so dark. Something I'd like to share before I begin smudging us for the week ahead. 

I have one sister by blood. But in the past few years I've come to find I have actually a few handful of them now. Not by blood. I like to call them each, my earth sisters. The Universe (and some, TWD) brought us together and we clicked. One of my earth sisters shared with me how she sits in front of the window when the sun shines through. How it reminded her of a loved one that had passed away. She of course misses him daily. But the thought that she "remembers" him by doing this positive loving gesture. Warmed my soul. Fed my energy. A reminder that we are spirits having human experiences (as the quote goes). 

May today's smudging heal us of any negative energy that does not belong in our and our families aura. Let us find the light in the darkness. Let's begin....get yourself comfy and keep your water close if you need it. Note* you can use this smudging for tomorrow's full moon as well. :) if it helps. (Close your eyes. But not really because you have to read this hehe) Deep breathes., exhale..Go to you're happy place. Now read the prayer and view images as if it's a scroll  as you're in your happy place.

Opening smudge prayer:

I'd like to ask The Lord our Father as well as The Universe to be here with me as well as be here with those reading this.

I'd like to ask my ancestors to be present, as well as the elements; fire, earth, air and water to be here with us. I'd like to call on the goddess of the North, East, South & West. As well as our archangels Raphael for healing, Michael for protection, Gabriel for revelation & Uriel for wisdom.

Please cleanse US ALL of any negative energy. So that we all can be ready for this new week ahead. 

I ask that this sage smoke carry away any negative energy so you all may begin this week in a circle of wonderful positive energy. 

May the smoke of the cedar surround you and yours in a protective white light. Please Lord and Universe please help me unblock all of these negative energies that my zenful readers may have so they may begin their own healing. Smudge and cleanse them all of any negative energy that does not suit or support their needs. 

Closing smudge prayer:

I'd like to thank you Lord and The Universe for being here with my Zenful readers and myself as I cleanse us. I want to thank my ancestors for being present.
